Gas Scrubbing - Introduction

TAPC (formerly as The Environmental Group "EGL") has been designing and building gas cleaning systems for industrial applications in Australia since 1968. We specialise in absorption and adsorption, dust and particulate capture, mist elimination and specialist catalytic reduction and thermal oxidation destruction systems. Our breadth of technologies, resource base and depth of experience are un-matched in Australia. Design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning and performance testing of systems from $1,000 to $30m+ in value.

Port Kembla Flue Gas Desulphurisation project

In 2007 TAPC (as EGL) completed an Australian first by building a desulfurisation plant that produces high quality gypsum at BlueScope Steel in Wollongong.  We have maintained and operated this plant since its construction with a greater than 99% availability.

This plant represents many of the TAPC qualities that we pride ourselves on; an innovative process, a depth of experience from our team and a high quality outcome for our customer.

How can we help you?
