Types of emissions

TAPC can design equipment to handle a variety of challenging gas and vapour streams from the perspective treating the gas and vapour stream, to ensuring that it is built of suitable material to ensure long term equipment reliability.

Identifying the emissions issue to be address can be difficult. Knowing the difference between VOCs/HAPs and, dust & fume issues can be difficult, especially when you need to treat for the right one. Speak to TAPC and have them work with you to identify exactly what your issues are and how you need to treat them within applicable environmental guidelines.

Mist elimination is the removal of droplets and mirco-droplets from a wet gas stream. These droplets pose a safety hazard if allowed to vent into the atmosphere. TAPC can assist with ensuring your equipment has the right mist eliminator fitted, that it is working properly and that it is maintained and serviced so that there is no reduction in its operating efficiency.

Types of Air Pollution Control Technology

These are essentially reactive process driven by heat. Contaminants will be oxidised down to a chemical compound that meets final emissions requirements or will take a form that can be addressed through additional processing before the final gas stream is allowed to vent to atmosphere in compliance with environmental regulations.

Separation process are as the name suggests, process which can separate out target contaminants. The process of separation can take several forms depending on the type of contaminant to be removed. In short a separation process could be a physical process such as filtration or it may require an advanced chemical process to separate a contaminant that dissolved in the gas stream and must be reacted to allow separation such as SOx removal.

Sorptive process utilise a combination of chemical and physical process to bind a contaminant to a medium whereby the conatmainant loaded medium can then be disposed of in a more suitable manner. Once the loaded medium is “spent” it is removed and replaced with fresh medium.

The process utilise substances that assist a reaction, but are not consumed in the reaction. They essentially increase the efficiency of the process, making them more reliable and capable of running at higher capacity, reducing capital cost requirements.

Range of Services

Contact TAPC and let our friendly staff help you determine the extent of your problem and what you need to do treat it.

TAPC have been in business almost 6 years and have an experienced team that have successfully delivered projects to a variety of industries in that time. Take a look at aour case histories for examples of the breadth of work we have delivered over the years.

Our engineering team follow a rigorous design proposal that is then complemented by a project management process to ensure that the equipment we supply you meets robust process requirements, is build of the right material, utilises the best quality equipment and is delivered, installed and commissioned for you. Essentially, we’ll hand it over to you up and running, and can help you maintain and service it too. All with warranties an guarantees to protect your investment.

At TAPC we stand by our equipment and know best how to ensure it work to the fullest. A maintenance and service contract buys you peace of mind knowing that we have the technical knowledge and skills to keep you equipment running through routine service visit and technical audits that measure your equipment’s reliability. We can also offer training to your staff about proper operation and maintenance should you wish to do some inhouse maintenance of your own.
